Astronomy: VENUS

Sorry for those stupid people who still have hope to live (healthy, lucky, comfortably…) on the planet Mars. Now we know it’s very cold there, shit atmosphere, no liquid water, etc…

I believed short time in the planet Venus (about half an hour :-)) ); the conditions on it following:

VENUS

I had a look into one of my scientific books:
Encyclopedia of the Solar System, second edition, Edited by Lucy-Ann McFadden (University of Maryland), Paul R. Weissman (e.g. he is Senior Research Scientist at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology, Pasadena) and Torrence V. Johnson

After You will have read the following facts about the planet Venus, please tell everybody who wants to fly there for vacation or something else, not to do it and stay on earth, it’s still quite more healthy.

The planet has a
- solid surface with
- large highland regions
and spacecraft observation began 1962 with a flyby of “Mariner 2”
and e.g. a spacecraft touched down on March 3 1982 (Soviet “Venera 13”)

BUT
- greenhouse effect
- near-total lack of water
- surface temperature: 468°C, 874°F
- pressure: 95 bars (90 times greater than Earth’s)
- atmosphere: 96,5 % CO2 and Nitrogen, Argon, Carbon Monoxide, Sulfur Dioxide, Water
- Clouds consist of 75% Sulfuric Acid, 25% Water
- no hydrosphere
- no biosphere

So, save the planet earth…there is not now any other “good” planet reachable.

Why always think of an new planet?

Try to think for alternative ways to live.

I think of big cities inside the universe! Big space stations.

If the human want to stay alive, he first has to built space stations. THEN explore the universe for new places to live on. Even if we can live on mars, at the time we start to live there, earth doesnt exist anymore. Maybe the human should start thinking of building an own planet (Like in the movie Hitchhikers guide).

The best would be if humanity would start to do something intelligent...
